Hope House Orphanage
In the neighborhood of Ndeke, Hope has opened an orphanage for children, many whom have lost parents and caretakers because of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Currently, it is a small house where 15 children live with house parents. A social worker is involved in the selection, placement and progress of these children. They attend Hope Community School until they graduate 7th grade, and then are enrolled in a government school.
Your sponsorship helps provide food and water, housing, clothes and basic medical support, as well as emotional support and round the clock care for the child. Additionally, sponsorship helps cover the cost of enrollment in Hope Community School--the supplies, uniform, and a meal.
Sponsorship of a child at Hope House Orphanage is $50/month.
