Spark Ventures is thrilled to announce the recent launch of Hope Ministries’ poultry farm, a revenue-generating business supporting our Zambian partner. The profits from the farm will help to fund the school and orphanage that currently serve over 300 of Zambia's poorest children.
Spark has invested $100,000 in the development of the poultry farm, located in Lusaka, Zambia, which launched in early May. The farm was built and and will be operated by our partner, Hope Ministries, and is currently tending its first cycle of 5,000 chickens. Once the farm reaches capacity, it will raise nearly 200,000 chickens per year and generate over $100,000 in income for Hope Ministries. This farm will provide local, sustainable revenue for our partner, ensuring nutrition, education and healthcare for thousands of children for generations to come.
