Shelby Goldstein Schoolhouse

In the Fall of 2008, Spark launched the Igniting Hope/Building a Future campaign centeredgirl at chalk board on providing Hope with $85,000 to build a new seven-classroom school. This new building will increase the capacity at Hope Community School while also reducing class sizes and improve the quality of education being provided.

The school was completed in late 2009 and started its first school year in January 2010. It is now in its second year of operation, serving as the home of Hope Community School and serving over 300 students.

Read here about the exciting dedication of the schoolhouse in June 2010, which included Spark, Hope, leaders and member of the Twapia community and, of course, the incredible students of Hope Community School.
