Our Mission
Spark Ventures is a non-profit organization that exists to partner with high-impact organizations around the world that help vulnerable children and their communities achieve their full potential.
Spark Ventures is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization recognized by the State of Illinois and the Internal Revenue Service of the United States of America.
High-impact refers to those non-profit and non-governmental organizations on the front lines of local child advocacy and assistance, showing measurable outcomes from their work.
Vulnerable children are those living in poverty, lacking nutrition, medicine, proper education and basic opportunities for growth and encouragement in life.
For these children to reach their full potential, it will require that adequate food, healthcare, schools, and caregivers be available to them. Additionally, the general welfare of communities in which these children live must improve through expanded educational opportunities, greater healthcare options and the implementation of economic models for growth and sustainability.
Our Objectives
Spark Ventures, NFP accomplishes its mission by focusing on three main objectives: establishing long-term partnerships, raising awareness and support, and investing resources.

1. Establish Long-term Partnerships
° Identify small, promising and viable organizations that help vulnerable children in impoverished and/or under-resourced areas
° Build relationships with local leaders of these organizations, learning their culture and needs, and advancing their vision collaboratively
° Formalize partnership agreements centered on mutual respect, with clear expectations and accountability for both parties

2. Raise awareness and support
° Communicate the needs and vision of partner organizations
° Identify and recruit investors and associates willing to give time, money and expertise
° Offer transformational experiences through volunteer travel and service-learning with partner organizations
° Connect partner organizations with local support providers and identify local and international resources to create sustainability and growth

3. Invest Resources
° Provide leadership development and training for partner organizations
° Assist with infrastructure, organizational development and efficiencies
° Supply finances for operating budget, expansion and capital projects
° Connect supplies, services and people from Spark Associates to partner organizations

Our Vision
Spark Ventures is committed to establishing strong partnerships that serve as models for effectively addressing the needs of vulnerable children and creating healthy, sustainable and supportive communities in priority global markets.
Thousands of Spark investors will help achieve the Spark mission and advance our vision by growing cross-cultural relationships with partners around the world, advocating global citizenship by raising awareness of and commitment to vulnerable children everywhere, and, by humbly investing their lives and resources in the transformation of our world.
Through a steady, measured approach that provides a meaningful impact in partner organizations, Spark Ventures seeks to align its model to accelerate the success of high-impact organizations across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas within ten years.
